Voted one of the most beautiful villages in France, Gargillesse lives up to its reputation. Scorching heat and a sticky, moody baby sweating against me in his carrier meant I couldn't appreciate the village as much as possible! It took a long time to locate a beer! The crypt of the Church was an interesting find with its frescoed ceiling.
