Quick flight North dropped us off in the mighty city of Cairo.....2 days of non-stop sightseeing!

Well, will have to keep this one short 'cos the boats setting sail shortly. Yesterday was a great start to the trip. Up real early (6am!) & off to the Valley of the Kings (& then Queens). Saw too many sites to list, but same were Tut's tomb (as you do!), Ramese IV, Neferiti, Collosus of Memnon & a wonderful temple for Queen Hesphetut. All amazing and awe inspiring. The Egyption folk are crazy friendly....just don't make eye contact with a trader. "No thank yo...

a little hidden treasure on the Red Sea coast. 15 miles north of Hurghada is the resort of El Gouna. Peaceful and beautiful. Just what was required!.....PS. I saw dolphins on a dive :)))
