The company is the world's third-largest cruise line known for its entertaining, laid-back atmosphere and inventive freestyle cruising. It highlights no required dress codes and even no fixed dining times. They provide a wide range of activities on the cruise to enjoy and live life to the fullest.
Something that struck me the most is the characteristics and strategies she mentioned to succeed and grow the business. She uses the word BRIDGE and cuts it into pieces to elaborate on what she says. First is the Boldness because business is about being innovative, creative, and confident in your knowledge and, most especially yourself. Second is the Relationship because it is vital to have constant communication with your clients and provide empathy, transparency, expert guidance, and set expectations and will always be a beacon of light and positivity. More importantly, it is to listen first to them before you talk. The third is Inspiration because we can choose a positive attitude despite the negativities around us. We may not know what is ahead of us, but what matters most is how to react to certain things we face in life. The fourth is Discipline because they may be times that you will get double work, and the pressure is on you. Still, you must have to discipline yourself and your team to achieve the company's objectives. Don't let distractions ruin our decisions, but rather be focused and have a balanced lifestyle. The fifth is Genuineness because clients will surely know if you really care about them or you just want them to get high sales. Sometimes, it is okay not to know everything even though you are in a business setting because this only gives you the time to reconnect with your clients and receive feedback. If we are genuine with our dealings with our clients, this will promote additional referrals. Lastly, Engagement because it is vital to deliver value and excellent customer service. Customer engagement is the pathway to meet the expectations and needs of every client. As I learned more about the company, I have imagined many job opportunities such as Restaurant Manager, Outbound Sales Consultant, Travel Agent, Onboarding Administrator, and many more. Since this is a cruise line company, it offers a wide range of work opportunities to pick from. Engaging myself with this business line will give me so understanding of providing excellent customer service to every client.
