These are the 'pests' of New Zealand. They love to peck at the rubber that holds Car Windscreens in and totally ruin them! These birds were part of a rescue programme and were being looked after. The Queenstown Birdlife Park is a brilliant place, we sat in the almost dark in their Kiwi facility watching the Kiwis. It was incredible as Kiwis are nocturnal, so they've reversed day to night so we can view them safely during their conservation programme.
