A five-hour layover in Amsterdam means there is enough time to take the train into the city, and pick up some important, last-minute shopping items before returning home.

From Istanbul to Amsterdam, and home in a day, we arrived around the same time we left. We had a few hours to take the train into Amsterdam centre between flights. Farewell Asia and Europe! Goodbye Istanbul. It's 2am, and we're getting ready to head home.

It's our last day in Istanbul, so we've been cramming in the activities. First off, we visited the Chora church, which had been turned into a museum. The small building has preserved Byzantine mosaics.
