Hey Everyone! I've been in oz for a week now and had fun wandering round Melbourne and seeing the sites. Hey All I'm in Queenstown at the mo, home of all things crazy. Yesterday some fool persueded me to jump off a tiny little wooden platform on a cable car, 143m above a gorge with only a rubber rope tied to my ankles.... oh, my god!!! Bungy jumping is the most scary thing ever! -but also superbly fast and fun! :-) Still not quite sure how I managed to throw myself out into thin air, but it was worth it! Greetings! I've finally left the tropical island of Rarotonga in the Cooks... booo! I arrived in NZ on the 12th (my birthday) so thus managed to avoid turning 30 by not telling anyone. Denial eh?! I'm Auckland for a couple of days and contemplating the hasards of 2nd hand car buying in NZ. Back in Van after a 10 day trip to Whistler Blackcomb. Thanks to the hot tub on the roof of our appartment block and varying degrees of manic weather we all had a fab time. THe discovery that wearing a snowboarding helmet lets me slide backwards downhill a lot faster was a revelation.. eh hem. :-) Am now feeling super fit and can't wait to get to Tahiti for some more diving (if my ear ever unblocks that is!). Train down to Seattle tomorrow and then a quick flight...
