Gordon is the oldest son of our Charleston friends, the Waldrons. He was born in South Africa, lived for a while in the US growing up, & now has a lovely house in Sommieres, as well as 2 apartments in Paris. They very kindly invited us to dinner on their lovely summer terrace. We started out sitting by the pool overlooking the river Vidourle. Stunning! But the sun prevented me from taking a good picture.
