Aznavour was born in Armenia, & was discovered in Paris, by Edith Piaf. He became a huge international success, like Piaf & Trenet. Unfortunately, this concert was not a success. People were upset when he didn't appear until 11:30 pm, sang only 5 songs, & left. Supposedly, people are getting their money back. By the time we got to France in mid June the tickets were sold out, and the scalper prices prohibitive. Lucky us! We downloaded his songs on I-tunes!
