This corridor connected the Imperial family's private apartments at the side of the Basilica to the Basilica itself. It runs perpendicular to the Peristyle, and portrays various hunting episodes taking place in the far-off provinces of Europe. It starts with the capture of wild beasts (lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinoceri, etc) and concludes with their transport to Rome to be displayed in the Circus Maximus.
