If this were Isabelle & Leon, he would be wearing the new French uniform, called "les bleus". This was a big improvement on the original ones issued, which had red pants, in homage to France's historic red uniform from the war of 1870. However, you can imagine that the red made great targets. Leon thinks the "big shots" were being pretty stupid! Eventually they remedied that!
