The race was to be held on July 1, so thankfully, we didn't have to share this lovely city with thousands & thousands of people. However, they had laid down a mud covering on the famous "Campo" in preparation for the race. We hit it perfectly: they'd laid the track, & were ready for the race, 2 days away.
