On 4-28-23, we arrive in the Imperial City of Meknès, founded in the 10th c.
Meknès became the Moroccan capital in 1673 under Sultan Moulay Ismail, coming to power at age 27. He had 550 wives, 4,000 concubines, & 888 children. Wow!
