A harpsichord concert in a small 11th C chapel...
They call this, in French, a "clavecin". It made such beautiful music in this lovely chapel, where the acoustics made it even bette. We looked it up on the internet, & watched a video of a man explaining how it works. The strings are plucked, not pounded (like a piano). And this one had 2 "claviers" (keyboards). You can add to the music by pulling out various stops: play 2 octaves at once, play notes together or separate, etc. It's a lot like an organ. This was our last concert in the Villevieille series.
