but after his death (1962), the garden was neglected. In 1980, Pierre Bergé & Yves Saint Laurent bought the garden, saving it from developers. Since then, with the restored & enhanced garden welcomes thousands of visitors. It's a very welcome oasis in Marrakesh's hot climate.
