Ryan Air is a low cost European airline, run like Southwest in the US. Cheap, but wow, is it a pain! We drove to Girona (2 hours for us), just north of Barcelona, then flew to a place about 150 miles from Berlin. We had to take a shuttle to the train station, then a train into Berlin. All in all, it works, but it's a long day.
