We are used to Moroccan food, but again, there was something magical about what they served us. The cookies (top) were delicious..we could taste almond & some other delicate spices in the almost dry/crunchy Moroccan style. By now we were accustomed to the tri-color olives & dates, but loved the addition of olive oil, amalou (a delicious Nutella-like spread from argan nuts), goat butter, & apricot jam & honey. Plus the nuts in the bowl on the bottom. Still don't know what the yellow buttery stuff at the top is. Whew!
