It was an early rise this morning with breakfast at 6.30am, as we were boarding a boat at 7am that was taking us to the Thailand border, up the Mekong River. Well today was another day I certainly won't forget in a hurray. Nikki, Lauren and I were picked up in a tuk tuk at 8.30am and we spent the morning kayaking on the Nam Khan River. It was so relaxing and the scenery was beautiful. We all got our own kayaks which was fun and the rapids were quite strong in parts, so you had to tackle them straight so you didn't capsize. I can't believe it's Thursday already, time is just flying by. What an amazing day today was!!! Tubing in Laos may be dangerous if you let it be but we had the best afternoon ever. We started today with a long lie and didn't get up until 10am, therefore had missed breakfast at the hotel.
