Days 22-28: Leaving the lakeshore we headed to Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi before going to our cmp in South Luangwa National park in Zambia. Days 17-21: We crossed the border into Malawi and made our way to our first campsite next to Lake Malawi, it was called Chitimba. We got our tents set up and gathered in the bar whilst the cooking team prepared our dinner. All of a sudden it started to rain and by rain i mean absolutely chuck it down!! When dinner was ready and we ventured back to the camp we found the area where our tents were was flooded, our tent was now sat in a puddle about 2/3 inches deep!...

Days 10-16: From Arusha we had two drive days ahead of us to reach Dar es Salam, from there we would catch the ferry to Zanzibar island. The first night we stayed in a very nice campsite about halfway between the two called the White Parrot Campsite. It had nice little hedges around the grass where you could put your tent. Day 7: As we entered the park we began to see animals straight away. We were heading for our campsite on the way we saw impalas, zebras and giraffes standing right beside the road and lots of playful baboons.
