Vegas in Australia This morning we travelled from Byron Bay to Surfers Paradise on the Greyhound, which meant that we left New South Wales and went into the state of Queensland, also gaining an hour because of the different time zones. The grasshopper tour to Nimbin We got up this morning to meet the minibus to take us to a local town called Nimbin, which is a hippy town known for being 'alternative'. The bus was about half an hour late, which wasn't a good sign! When it did arrive it was an old fashioned van, covered in different colours and hippy symbols. Coyote girls...and guys! We did some planning this morning, and then the three of us left Angie and walked all the way along the beach and followed the trail around the coastline to the Byron Bay lighthouse.
