Hi sweetheart BofI fantastic - we are jealous as we want to go back again and spend longer -were there for 3 days. Missed Coramandel so will be interested in that - understand the views down the coastline are magnificent. Did most of what you did - except for the sandboarding. We looked at the dune and paddled in the water. We came back down the beach. Going up was awesome as just before there had been flooding due to unusual rain storms and the road had been under feet of water - you could see the debris left high up in the trees. Happy New Year!! I know its late but I hope you had a lovely christmas and NY I was thinking of you! I was poorly with this cold/flu bug both christmas and ny so didn't do that much!!

Hi sweetheart Glad you are still enjoying yourself. Strange doing different things at Christmas. Being down in P.mouth and not being bag lady/bagman was really weird - done that for so many years but
it was nice to spend time with Ian, Aileen, Linda & Fraser. Fraser headed to Iran on business Sat evening but got diverted because, wait for it, Tehran airport was closed due to snowstorms!!
Crazy world weather. He came back Tues, instead of Thurs - caught us out as we were doing things in his flat for his birthday and ready for Elvie coming over. There were new curtains spread around,
curtain rails, blinds, kitchen drainer & bowl, etc; all the existing were still there as well. He could hardly get in the door. Still he appreciated how nice it looked when we got around to doing

It is a little strange being in the sun but get a tan and a photo with a banner saying Christmas 2007 held up infront of you and you can keep it for a great momento to look back on. Hi sweetheart - Bay of Islands - delightful. Memories are made of this. We had a great few days up there and would definitely go back up there again. Hopefully on our next visit. We did the long haul up the beach to the North and gathered mussels on the beach. Sandsurfing was offered but we declined (cowards). Love you lots N&G

Hi We did not do much in Auckland so great to see some through your eyes without affecting our feet!! You plan the Coramandel - I'm jealous - we had to miss that out - not enough time. My cousin and wife live in Papamoa Beach. I'll send you their address and telephone if you are near there give them a visit. Their daughter Claire is somewhere nearer to Auckland but can't remember.
