Hi everybody from Cuzco, capital of the Incas. We have had a very eventful couple of days on and around Lake Titicaca. We arrived in the town of Puno and set off early on Sunday morning on perhaps the slowest boat on the Lake. HI all, WOW! We have been up to so much since the last blog entry that I am not sure where to start! As you´ll see we are now in Peru although since Brazil we have touched down in Argentina, Chile and Bolivia - getting loads of stamps in our passports! So, we finished up in Rio on Monday and spent our last day (Sunday) visiting the hippy market in Ipanema, where we bought a lovely piece of local artwork showing Rio (sugar loaf/ Christ the Redeemer/ favelas etc...

Hello from Rio!! Having been here for four days already we thought it was about time we jotted down a few notes for our first blog entry. We arrived at our hostel, Yaya Rio, on Wednesday morning….. unfortunately our luggage didn't make it until Thursday evening!! We had predicted that might have been the case as we had to run what felt like miles through Heathrow airport (me in my socks as I didn't even have time to put my boots back on after the security check...
