Being prepared is always a good thing, but trying to plot out a 10,000klm trip on a map with nightly destinations is not that simple. The greatest tool of course for this is good old Google Maps, just type in the potential route with guesswork on how many klm's you may do per day depending on tourist stops, and then adjust the locations based on the distances and times between the projected target towns.
