The multi-coloured houses n´all

Travelled through the day over the snow covered mountains, to highest mountain reaching nearly 7000M high, slow border crossing into Chile from Argentina however despite the great views. Our gold card passport (UK passport) failed us quicker entry than any other people to our dissapointment. We stayed in Valparaiso instead of the popular beach resort of Vina Del Mar as it was too expensive. Lots of different coloured houses on the 42 hills behind us and a great little hostel to stay in, the beach is down the road by metro, however we didn´t make it to the beach as the weather was poo, we spent a day around the slums and port and then met some germans who were having their own wine tasting session, we decided to join them and ended the night drinking some random spirit with um, good fun indeed! Flying out from Santiago soon, to the National park first however!
