Berlin is COOL - We stayed in the Eastern part of the city, in an old neighborhood which has lately turned hip (aka Communist Chic). Helloooooo from Belgium! We are currently en route to Berlin, Germany via train stops in Brussels and Cologne. Bruges is a beautiful city, medieval, yet strangely, current. This city has a retired Benguine, which is a 12th century commune for unmarried women, complete with a moat. Thanks Mark! We visited a treehouse themed Koffieshop in Amsterdam. Quite an interesting Colorado-esque experience. Amsterdam is a great walking city and plenty of places to see around every corner. The pace is fast with bicycles everywhere, pedestrians everywhere, trams and buses zig-zaging through the city.
