"Cheese House", a common thing in these parts. I understand John Cleese's real surname (but changed by his grandfather) was Cheese. I once heard him say that when he makes a reservation at a restaurant, he often uses Cheese as his surname, rather than Cleese, except he translates it into the language applicable to the restaurant, such as Fromage for French, Fromaggio for Italian etc. Apparently, it gives him a kind of cheesy authenticity (until he actually shows up, of course, as he's quite a famous and unmistakable figure).
