Finding our way to our hotel in downtown Amsterdam could only have been achieved with SatNav. But, even when we got there, the narrow one way street was awash with bikes and people. I managed to find a single parking place which I reversed into against a torrent of cycles, a feat of which I remain quite proud, especially since no-one was killed.
