May 06 2015 - Fiery Seas Above Steep Hill Cove
Blow, winds, and crack your cheeks! rage! blow! You cataracts and hurricanoes, spout Till you have drench’d our steeples, drown’d the c*cks! You sulphurous and thought-executing fires, Vaunt-couriers to oak-cleaving thunderbolts, Singe my white head! And thou, all-shaking thunder, Strike flat the thick rotundity o’ the world! Crack nature’s moulds, all germens spill at once That make ingrateful man! King Lear Act III, Scene II, which I learnt for my A Level. My other favourite quote from Lear is "Out vile jelly!", as some poor sod's eye is poked out, but that didn't fit the scene too well.
