I'm in the process of getting rid of things. Its cathartic. Things to get rid of definitely include gadgets. I generally find gadgets are either useless, or you've never got access to them when you need them, or you only find them when you are looking for something else. That is why I was quite incredulous when I came across this bloke in Cotsco's car park using a well known gadget; this one being the mini compressor which you plug into the cigar lighter. In 40 years of driving I don't think I've ever thought "if only I had one of those mini compressors you plug into the cigar lighter". If I had got one, I would have slung it out, along with the bread maker, the Swiss fondue set, the wine drinkers companion gift box and the moustache trimmer.
