The sun's rays scream in at 186,000 miles per second. The nature of parallel things looking distinctly un-parallel has always fascinated me, as has the nature of light itself (which I confess, I still don't understand what it actually is). And when God specified "Let there be light", I wonder if he also considered that the fact that giving light a constant speed would have all sorts of implications for relativity, time and space.
