In the event, that was all we did, refreshed ourselves. So, we had ascended several thousand feet using varied modes of transport, funicular railways, buses, then on foot, to go to a cafe. But, as it happens, it was worth it. Once again, fresh, Italian fare was served and all of us, I think, felt we'd achieved some degree of satisfaction, or repletion, if that's the word.
