This young man was delivering a Shakespearean speech with considerable aplomb to a group of supporters of the Schools Shakespeare Festival who attended a dinner at Baroness Mallalieu's Buckinghamshire home. The SSF does fantastic work encouraging young people to get into Shakespeare. Their objective is not to produce actors per se, but to use the Bard to help youngsters to grow their confidence and potentially enhance their life skills. In particular, they do a great deal of work with the underprivileged and those with disabilities and judging by tonight, they are doing a terrific job.
