I took a couple of shots with my own phone, but these were lost forever when a trickster pretending to be selling greetings cards put them on the table, then cleverly lifted my phone when he picked the cards back up. I was annoyed at first but then I realised just how hideous it would be to make a living causing misery and frustration in others. It was a memorable anniversary. The restaurant were actually very good, they called the police and then insisted we didn't pay for our meal. The police took all the details, including being told that the restaurant had CCTV, but I got the distinct impression the Police's function these days is frequently nothing more than the administration of crime stats.
