We were adjacent to the Blenheim estate. We covered many topics over lunch including much about various animal encounters we'd had. I told them the owl story, which went down quite well (see entry June 08 2015). Being country folk, they also kindly let us know where we could get a limitless supply of horse manure, if we needed it. I privately wondered to myself why horse manure is so much more acceptable than dog poo. I think the answer is diet.
