There was a racket outside and this helicopter was hovering over my house. It may have been part of the Olympics security thing, I don't know. Anyway, a linguistics tip is that in Spanish a lot of words are just the same as the English word, but with an "o" tacked on. I once enquired from a fluent Spanish speaker what the Spanish was for helicopter and he confirmed, to my delight, that it is indeed "helicoptero". My general advice, therefore, for those non Spanish speakers searching for the right word, is that you can do a lot worse than try the old "plus o" technique first and there's a very good chance you'll be right. Incidentally, another good Spanish phrase to lob out is "Que passa calabassa, nada limonada" which means "what's happening pumpkin, nothing lemonade". I shouted that particular phrase to this "helicoptero" and it dissappearo'd, pronto.
