I am often asked why my pictures are so boring. My first thought is that they are not boring to me. A simple snap shot like this has me imagining quite a lot about the plethora of activities, lives and mini universes which are evolving in each of the rooms opposite or on the pavement below. I think it was Rousseau, or was it Cocteau, who observed "dullness is primarily evident to the dullard".
