Down the lane was a puddle and as traffic passed, a bush was repeatedly drenched. As the drops dripped down, they froze and created this beautiful sight. One of Richard Dawkins' many good points is to draw our attention to the astonishing beauty which can be routinely witnessed all around us in the natural world. He then compares this to the peculiar enthrallment expressed by religious devotees for those dubious, curiously bizarre and often pointless "miracles" which appear in various religious texts. Give me one of natures authentic miracles any day.
