Extraordinary Presents #24. My friend Andy has long associations with folk in the State of Iowa, USA. Iowa is a State few think of, or refer to, but their inhabitants will go out of their way to be nice, if in a slightly eccentric way. Andy's Iowan friend on on a very recent visit to the UK, made a point of bringing Andy a present of home brewed beer (see pic), properly bottled and with its own professional looking labels. Iowans, they are dark horses. By the way, their visit to the UK included as a special highlight, a trip to the stately home where Downton Abbey was filmed. That programme, apparently, is an immense hit stateside.
