Unfortunately, Stew had to leave the road trip to attend a business meeting in London. Unlike the hundreds of pounds fare I paid to get me, my brother and the car back from Esbjerg to Harwich, his fare on Ryanair from "Aarhus" Airport was £20!. I deliberately put Aarhus in inverted commas because in fact, in true Ryanair tradition, "Aarhus" Airport is a good few miles from the town called "Aarhus" so if anyone reading this ever intends to use that airport, note that they should allow at least one hour to get there from the town (with a good driver, that is).
