I wandered the streets for an hour or so, seeing only a handful of people like cab drivers at the end of their shift and the McDonald's guys getting set up for the Easter Burger Fest. I needed a cash point, but I didn't seem to come across one. Then, when I encountered this priest, I asked him if there was such a thing in this holy place. To my embarrassment, he pointed out that we were actually standing about 3 feet from one. It seemed like a bit of divine intervention. I asked him if he'd mind posing for a snap and he seemed hesitant. This hesitancy is something I'm encountering a lot more of these days - people seem to assume that there some sort of malicious intent behind my requests for a snap; I think perhaps its to do with the internet and identity theft and all that stuff. Anyway, sensing the priest's reticence I appended my request by adding "it seems fitting on this holiest of holy days" and that swung it.
