As Dan loved the saxophonist Art Pepper, he decided to take up the instrument. He was never quite as good as Art, but then again, unlike Art, he did manage to play without the use of hard drugs. Rog is on piano and this photo was taken in the rear parlour of 76, Foxley Lane, Purley.
