Back then, one Saturday activity was to wander the shops and cafes of Birmingham after several pints of continental strength lager, taking snaps of strangers who may (or may not) have been of some photographic interest. For some reason, I did a lot of this in McDonald's and here's an example (check out the "Gone With the Wind" locks and the grip on the dust pan...). Later, I was asked to leave the "restaurant" (amazing that they call it that) and later still, I was frog marched out of Ladbrokes the bookmakers for "upsetting the clientele".
