Stopped for a breather and happened to pull into this servo called the Kangaroo Crossing!!! Bloody yanks milking our bloody kangas for cash.... "That's a funny name, I'd av' called em chazwozzers!!!"

The river cruise was really relaxing, the Dixieland band on board were amazing, I didn't even stop to perve at girls once....that's how amazing! Met some cool people from Texas, but the view and music were the highlight! We have both decided to hire the band for our joint wedding..... Only problem is brides but minor details I believe at this point! Chowing down on alligator balls and cheese fries, with a Miley/Jessica Alba look alike waitress!!!!! Yummmmo

Having a corona on the only remaining paddleboat on the third largest river in the world in THE largest port in the world! Just a pretty standard Friday night I think! Listening to a five piece jazz band and taking in the sights of New Orleans at dusk!!!!

Where do I start?! Bourbon Street..... Hmmm it's a bad bad place, messy people, strong drinks, quite a few shady characters..... Probably three things that I can't write on here that stand out (ask me later I'll tell the nuts n bolts but can't put it on here- I want to be allowed back into Australia) but my first impressions are not really glowing. It probably the first place I haven't really enjoyed, the nightlife is very sleazy, dodgy.... Just not my cup of te...

Well well well! We have arrived in downtown New Orleans, short day in the car, first rain encountered but clear sunny sky now! Just heading for a wander to get our bearing then head out for some local culture tonight- bourbon and live music, can't get better than that! A'ight!!!!
