Wow- well since we last checked in has been a large 32 hours, we left Albany for the greatest water wonder in the work, Niagara Falls. We arrived around 5pm, beautiful sunny day, great time of day to see the falls as the sun set...we decided to park the car and walk across the bridge to Canada, why get so close and not pop over to say Hello!!
Easy right? Wrong. Bortha and myself had all our documentation to get out of and back into the USA- but of course Tee Bags didn't have a copy of his visa so after getting into Canada for a whole 2 minutes he was escorted back to US immigration to get his visa details Ftom the car- and there wernt that keen on letting him back onto US soil- eventually they yielded, so while we waited in Canada for numbnuts to return- he never returned! So we decided he was obvious detained and went and grabbed a beer at the HardRock Cafe and rode the Maid of the Mist right into the falls! Awesome Awesome AWESOME sight- so powerful and immense! Can't believe a 7yo kids fell in and survive the drop- luckiest little b****** in the world!
We got some great pics, and wandered back to the USA to retrieve the illegal immigrant from the car. By then it was 10.30pm.
From there we drove all ride in rotations-550 miles to arrive in Joliet, Indiana, for a total of 837 miles for the day!!!! Three tired, smelly and cranky travelers are now resting fir he day/night!
Beautiful countryside, we saw lots of Amish folk riding in horse n carriage and stopped for photos in corn crops, but are ready for a massive rest!!
