From Purlubie beach we went to Ceduna for the night & then onto here (Cactus). Famous surf here but to windy whilst we were here. Not sure whether we would go in the water here as this is great white country! From here we went to Fowlers bay & the Great Australian Bight where we camped.

Early birthday drinks with yours truly. (pic) Went to Venus Bay today, back at camp now watching the sun set with a glass of red. Grace's first words today 'Dad'. Lot's of campers here tonight, high tide tomorrow will test us out. Relax tomorrow before going across to Ceduna on Monday.

At this camp spot for a few days, the tide almost comes all the way up to the camper, it's a bit like camping on the beach at Pt Roadknight. Shower & toilets are here. Very windy at the moment probably won't ease so may not get to kayak here. Flat tyre yesterday was terminal (new tyre fitted at Streaky Bay 23 km away). Grace is traveling well.

South Australia's wave rock, came here after some research, the more famous Western Australian wave rock is 500km out of our way this was only 15km. Very windy today but mostly tail wind. Got a flat tyre 1km before camp, maybe bad luck? Road seemed good but let tyre pressures down now. Off to Streaky Bay tomorrow, looking forward to the coast.
