Arrival at Ceduna heralded the end of the Nullarbor, whilst we find the Nullarbor an interesting enough trip (although many tell us it is boring) it is never the less very long.We elected at Ceduna to take the coast road to Port Augusta (rather than across the top on the peninsular) even though the trip is considerably longer, it is also more scenic. We only stopped in Ceduna for a bite to eat before moving on to camp somewhere east of Smoky Bay.

 The national parks around Esperance gave us an opportunity for wilderness camping.. We had hoped to also visit Isralite Bay but the weather was starting to build so we decided to head directly to the Nullarbor. We had an interesting lunch break at an abandoned, but well cared for settlers hut.
