 Getting back to Bangkok was another adventurous 15 hours of travel. First a trip in a crowded minibus over muddy barely formed roads.It was 6 hours to the border with 4 river ferry crossings to make, and our packs, on the minibus roof, were completely coated with mud. A bus trip took us down to Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia.At a comfort stop along the way, we saw snacks of spiders, crickets and other indistinguishable creatures deep fried for sale and local bus passengers were buying them.  Our ticket euphemistically said it was a "speed boat". Well it was actually a very old tub of a boat probably meant to take some 8 people, that about 22 of us were crammed into, but it was a great experience.
