Kernave Archaeological Site (Cultural Reserve Kernave) is UNESCO World Heritage listed. The five hills in the area each contained a settelment on top, as a type of hilltop fortress. Nothing remains of the communities on the hill tops, however a museum is being built to house artifacts discovered.
