My Son was originally built by the Cham dynasty who were principally Bhudist however with also Hindu influence due to their Indian heritage. The culture show is reinactment of Cham dancing, with a distinctive Indian flavour. The Cham decendants now mostly live in the Mekon Delta region and converted to the Muslim faith.
