This is the hall used to store the 80,000 blocks of the Tripitaka Koreana. The windows of the natural ventilation system can be seen on the outside of the building. The Tripitaka is also known as the Goryo Daejangkyung due to being published in the Goryo historical period or Palmandaejangkyung in reference to their being 81,350 blocks.
