Hi there!! Belated birthday wishes - I didn't forget, just been busy starting the extension and gearing up for 2 weeks holiday. The building work has started and I am now waiting for a delivery of concrete before going off to blow loadsa money on bricks and lintels - retail therapy with a difference - feels almost as good though!!
Survived Homelands better than Michelle who will readily admit she started to wimp out at about 2am. She'd partied on through from Friday night though, so had an excuse, allbeit a crap one!! Had great fun there - Audiobullys ROCKED!! Told Darren I was just getting it out of my system, but have just succeeded in convincing myself I want to go next year. He's gutted!
Not much home news - Mark's birthday next weekend. Off to Cornwall, as you know. Phill and Amy from across the road are coming, and Craig and Wendy. Steve, Ric et al are being as crap as usual and haven't booked as far as I know and now Ayr is full!! Poor Mark. I do feel a bit sorry for him.
Anyway, must go and take charge of a big lorry.

Belated birthday wishes!(couldnt get on Computer Sam hogging it day and night!!!!).South America sounds great .Will put it on my wish list! Sam home again now so no peace for the wicked and having to hide my tweezers again!!
Andrew and Kat just returned from week in Rome and really enjoyed it. Sam got a phone call last night to say the house in Uxbridge had been burgled so her and Bob have just gone up to see what thay can salvage.Needless to say she had let her insurance lapse!!!!
At the moment it looks as though they have only taken small items like dvds and jewellery. Luckily she had bought quite a bit of her stuff home last week so its not as bad as it could have been.Took her jewellrey box but Nans wedding ring was in a trinket pot on a shelf so the B******* didnt get that. Also they took all her DVD's except one, the Pink Panther collection (think Nan is watching over us or what)!!!
She is off to Prague next week so at least she has something to look forward to and she gets her results on Sat!!
Me and Bob are off to France on Sunday for a break HA HA! ( we are laying a wood floor in the cottage) cant wait to get going on the Calvados at Claude and Marie's. God knows what the floor will look like after a few of them.

Hi Elaine! Happy birthday for yesterday- I meant to email you but I wasn't in work - I was busy having a second job interview and now I have a new job starting in July!!! PLUS I'm earning loads of money and may even have the chance to travel to France, north America and Australia- so may even see you there!!! Glad you're having such a good time. Hola Me Amigeos!!!Thank you all so much for my birthday wishes I had a great day... Not many people can say they spent it in the middle of the dessert in Peru, in the Colca Canyon with Condors flying above you with wing spans of about 3 meters and about 1 meter tall - It was absolutley amazing!!!

Oh and after that we had dinner in a peruvian restaurant and the Band sang me happy birthday and we ate sweet potatoe birthday cake!! So all in all a very spanish birthday.

Loving South America, we´ve been on a tour for the last week as there is so much to see...amongst much site seeing we´ve been sandboarding and dune buggy ridging in the dessert which was so much fun!! 120kmp DOWN as dune!!! Flying over the Nasca Lines which are ancient symbols in the sand which they are not sure where they cam from.. And now we are in Arequipa and AT LAST I´ve been to a salsa club!! it was fantastic... finally got to put it into practice with some native peruvians and.... my I add they told me I was good.. so I´m well happy!!!
